Life & Work with Moriah Naomi Stinson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Moriah Naomi Stinson.

Hi Moriah Naomi, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m originally from New Jersey but when I turned 19, I hit the road and headed to California to pursue my musical dreams and enter into adulthood. Being in the Los Angeles area for about five months was one of the most challenging seasons I’ve had to face so far. LA will eat you alive and then spit out back out but my time, there was such a time of growth and I wouldn’t change it. I did meet some amazing people and have some wonderful experiences but ultimately decided to continue my journey in the Nashville, Tennessee area. Since being in Tennessee, I’ve been able to work on various musical projects and met the love of my life who is now my husband.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Planting roots has still come with its own set of challenges and roadblocks. One of my best friends and musical inspirations was killed by a deranged fan and that took a heavy toll on my heart and creativity. My mom and biggest role model has been suffering from Alzheimer’s for the past few years and more recently, it has escalated more quickly. Two of my biggest fans have slowly faded away and that’s been extremely tough. At this point, I’m trying to start fresh and know that my friend and my mom would want me to continue being creative and doing what I love, music. I’ve been working on my social media presence and creativity and ultimately want people to see me as someone they can relate too and radiates positivity despite life’s challenges.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a singer/songwriter who also loves videography and photography and go by the stage name Moriah Naomi. I’ve had my YouTube channel for over ten years and am so proud to have all of that content to look back on and continue growing. I’ve been building up my Instagram and have a mission to show a positive and encouraging lifestyle to everyone I come in contact with. Recently I’ve been reliving some of my childhood by opening packs of Pokémon cards on TikTok and it’s been super fun so far. You can find my music and all my social media accounts under the name Moriah Naomi.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is sharing the love of God in my heart to everyone I come in contact with. No one should ever feel alone and I want to do everything in my power to show everyone they are loved regardless of their circumstances and/or life choices.
