Life & Work with Natasha Hazlett of Franklin, TN

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Hazlett

Hi Natasha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I never planned to become an entrepreneur, author, or speaker. In fact, my journey to fulfilling the Lord’s callings for my life was anything but linear. It started with a moment of profound doubt and ultimately a decision to finally listen to the still, small voice within.

In my mid-20s, it appeared that I had it all figured out— I had a law degree, a promising career at a prestigious Memphis law firm and what looked like the “perfect” life. But as I sat in my office day after day, staring at piles of legal briefs, I had this nagging feeling that I was supposed to be doing something else.

I was scared to take the leap. What would my family think? How would I support myself? Would I fail? But deep down, I knew being an attorney wasn’t the only thing I was meant to do.

Around this time, I discovered the world of personal development and entrepreneurship. I started a small side business, learning everything I could about branding, marketing, and mindset. My evenings were spent devouring books and attending trainings. I started my first blog in 2007. Slowly but surely, I started seeing results.

5 years later, I moved from full-time law practice to serving as an Of Counsel attorney to my firm in Boise, Idaho. This allowed me to build my estate planning practice on my own time while working full-time in business with my husband, Richard. My husband and worked together and successfully built a thriving online business and marketing consulting business, where we coached women to define, build and monetize their brand online.

But in 2016, I hit a wall. I was on the verge of quitting our business. Fortunately, thanks to the support of my husband, I stuck to it– and instead went on a one year journey of self-discovery. My journey culminated with the writing of my very first book: “Unstoppable Influence: Be You. Be Fearless. Transform Lives”

I actually wrote the book over a period of just 22 days! It quickly hit best seller when it was released in 2018- and to date we have sold over 18,000 copies and counting! I released the 3rd edition of that book in 2023. Unstoppable Influence led to a global movement of women committed to using their voices to be a positive influence in the world while supporting one another through life’s ups and downs.

Unstoppable Influence rapidly became a very successful multiple 7-figure brand that has already touched the lives of tens of thousands of women around the world. My husband, Richard and I were honored twice by ClickFunnels with their Two Comma Club award for our work with Unstoppable Influence.

In 2018, when I was pregnant with my twins, we decided to move back to Tennessee to be closer to family. We settled in Franklin- a town that we have quickly fallen in love with. The one challenge I had in moving, though, was trying to make friends as an adult in a new town! I was a busy mom of 3 small kids and a business owner. I tried networking groups and neighborhood events, but I still hadn’t found a local friend group.

Someone told me, “if you don’t find what you’re looking for- build it yourself…” so I did.

So my husband and I started a new organization called “Our Gathering Table” to helping women, like me, find and develop deep, authentic friendships locally. We do this by hosting local gatherings of 6-8 women using a proprietary meeting “formula” that ensures that every woman feels seen, heard and supported.

The organization took off, and we now have over 30 local table hostesses in Middle Tennessee and also in 6 other states and the United Kingdom! In just over a year- we are serving over 1,700 women all over Middle Tennessee!

As if being a mom, an estate planning attorney, online business/marketing consultant and co-founder of Our Gathering Table wasn’t enough– I managed to write my second book!

It’s called “Free to Be Me: Break Through The Lies & Uncover the True You”. I co-authored the book with 23 other brave, vulnerable women. That book just hit best seller on Amazon and was listed as a Top New Release in January 2025. I have been so blessed by the stories of how that book has already helped transform women’s lives as well!

If I had to sum up my story– I would say, I’m a professional juggler with a passion for serving women and helping them feel seen, heard and supported!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think there’s a perception that success is linear— you go straight from Point A to Point B. My journey looked more like a 3 year old’s drawing- scribbles everywhere!

My first big business challenge was in the Summer of 2008. For 18 months, I had been working full-time in my law practice, then coming home around 7 PM and working until 1 or 2 AM on my side business- writing blog articles to promote our travel business.

In June of 2008, the company I was working for, said that they didn’t want individuals blogging anymore. I was devastated because that is how I was getting business. But it was actually way worse than that… the company notified me that I 48-hours to delete 18 months of my hard work- or my position with the company would be terminated!

I wish I could say I mustered up the “Tony Robbins” within and took that bump in stride and kept going- but I can’t. I quit that business. I gave up. Fortunately, my husband (who was also my business partner) did not quit. So 18 months later, I joined him back in the business!

Another time I was about to quit my business was in March of 2016. I was totally burned out. Fortunately, God had a great plan for me- and a speaker at a conference I was attending asked a question that lead to a massive epiphany! I tell that whole story in my book: “Unstoppable Influence”

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I wear a lot of hats right now, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Through Unstoppable Influence- our personal development training brand- we have a team of personal empowerment coaches that work for us in the Unstoppable Influence Academy. In the Academy, I lead Business & Life Small Group Coaching Calls and I also run an online Bible Study community called “Women of the Word”.

Through Fast Forward Marketing- our business/marketing consulting company- my husband and I work with authors, speakers, coaches and experts to help them boost their income and influence in the world.

Through my law firm- Hazlett Law PLLC- I help Tennessee families with their estate planning and estate/trust administration needs. I love educating individuals on the top 10 mistakes most families make when it comes to estate planning and how to avoid it!

Through Our Gathering Table, I help women find and develop deep, authentic friendships locally. We host gatherings all over Middle Tennessee- Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, Thompson’s Station, Spring Hill, Columbia, Antioch, Mount Juliet, Fairview and more! Our mission is simple- to help women feel seen, heard and supported– and to help them find other women to do life with!

What am I most proud of?

My family- first and foremost! I have been blessed with an incredible husband and three precious children. I love being a wife and mother…it’s the most fulfilling job I’ve ever had!

In business- one of the coolest success stories is a lady Cristy “Code Red” Nickel, a nutrition coach that I hired to help me lose weight back in 2016 as a part of my self-discovery journey. She helped me lose 55 pounds in 5.5 months with her Code Red Lifestyle nutrition program. I wanted to help her because she was so good at what she did- but she was barely making any money! She told me she was generating around $35,000/year in gross revenue.

I gave her a few tips as a friend, and she quickly hired Richard and I to help her grow her business. She ended up making over $10 Million over the next 3 years and is helping tens of thousands of people around the world now to get healthy through real food, water and sleep!
