Hi Rajan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our world is full of hidden incredible wonders, sometimes strange, sometimes creepy, sometimes shocking or mysterious, and I love to explore them, since childhood, I have been very curious about such things, it fascinated me a lot and so it became my hobby.

It all started with my interest in gathering knowledge of such uncanny things and sharing it with friends and receiving lots of mixed reactions every time. During the time of my graduation, a thought came to my mind that, since I am fond of these things, there can also be any number of people who have such interest, so why not create a community for those people who are interested in such things? And this is how the ‘UncannyFacts’ blog was created.

As the name suggests, the main aspect of this small blog is to bring out the weird/strange or mysterious stuff & information about anything and everything in this world, regardless of what it is related to. Whether it is from History, Science, Nature, Animals, Space, or even us, it doesn’t matter. If it’s unique, it’s in.

Me, Rajan Chavhan, (Founder & Editor of UncannyFacts), along with my amazing duo Siddhi Chavhan, (Co-Founder) and Pallavi Kitey, (Co-Founder) launched UncannyFacts blog in the early 2019 and have been serving unique stuff to the people all around the globe with lots of visitors every day on our blog. However, it was not the same during the initial days.

Just like everyone else, we had a hard time reaching out to the people. Even after being consistent for almost a year the results were the same. But my team and I thought of some key changes in our little blog. We applied those changes and it gradually worked. A big thanks to social media sites and my team! People noticed the new appearance and presentation and loved it!

We got lots of reactions, comments & shares on social media. We began to grow and gained a large number of daily visitors coming to our small blog also mostly on our social media pages.

So, this is our short story, the journey has just begun and there’s a lot more to come!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As you well know, unless you are famous, it is not an easy task to reach a large number of people and that too with the same interest as you. The initial days were quite a bit tough as there were less to no number of readers coming to our blog and that’s pretty obvious as we were not renowned, that’s where the struggle was.

But over time, we looked at our previous posts and analyzed where we went wrong and improved our presentation style by explaining the information in concise, simple, and easy-to-understand language with appropriate related images.

Bringing up facts that simply cannot be believed is a struggle in itself, as we have to research each and every aspect of the information ourselves to substantiate it before presenting it to the audience. This is the reason why ‘UncannyFacts’ is emerging as a reliable source of information and people love to interact with it.

Social media networks played an important role in reaching out to the masses. Being on-boarded on multiple social media platforms was a real boost to our reach and that’s where things started to change. We reached thousands of people with social media and received a lot of engagements plus reactions and our family began to grow.

It took us a long time to reach out to people and communities right from the beginning, but after overcoming the past mistakes and providing quality knowledge and information to the people, the ‘UncannyFacts’ family now has more than 2100+ followers and the numbers are increasing every day.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
UncannyFacts is a different kind of informative blog, we provide some unlike kinds of stuff to the readers. We prefer to bring out the stuff which is uncommon, which is weird, which is strange but true and real.

Say as an example, everyone knows about Mount Everest. It holds the world record for the tallest mountain and it’s extremely dangerous to climb and conquer the top, this is what many people know and will tell if you asked about Mount Everest. But we tell the people the other side of the story. We tell them that there are almost 200+ dead bodies still present on Mt. Everest.

Who once tried to climb the top and never came down. Why the dead bodies are still there? Why does nobody bring them down? It is too dangerous to get there and insanely costly to do so. People have even died who tried to bring down the dead. These dead bodies serve as guideposts to the new mountaineers and also show them how much it is deadly to reach the top.

So we provide a lot of unique facts and information like this and much more, which others don’t. It is our specialty to provide people with unusual things, to inspire them to think differently and we are proud to do so. UncannyFacts is known to have such an incredible collection of unusual things, that’s what sets us apart from others.

This in itself is a surprising fact that I had the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful community of the NashvilleVoyager magazine!
