Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Hardenbergh.
Hi Sara, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m from a small town just outside of Birmingham, Alabama, called Clanton. Growing up, my family and I would regularly drive an hour just to get Cookie Fix because we truly believed they were the best cookies in the world. That love for the brand stuck with me. I went on to attend Auburn University, where I earned a degree in marketing, and after graduating, I moved to Nashville. While living there, I found myself constantly missing my favorite cookie spot back home.
On a bit of a whim, I reached out to a family friend who connected me with the founder of Cookie Fix, Amy Jason. She came to visit Franklin, Tennessee, quickly fell in love with the area, and before long, we knew it was the perfect place to bring Cookie Fix. We opened our Franklin location in October of 2023. We love the simple joy of treating everyday moments as something special. We’ve always believed that everyone deserves a little bit of gourmet.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It took us about 8 months to find our store front location, we actually found it the day we got back from our honeymoon! Other than that it has been pretty smooth.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I graduated from Auburn University in marketing and worked at IHeartRadio for 2 years in marketing and advertising before opening Cookie Fix. At Cookie Fix we have dozens of variations and over 200 flavors and specials for our rotating menu, Cookie Fix doesn’t sell plain, flat, lifeless cookies.
