Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Biegel.
Hi Sarah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m an entrepreneur, a mom of two girls and just moved to Nashville this summer. For the last seven years, my husband and I have moved around the country while he played professional football. We are excited to plant roots here in Nashville! I own a photography business, “Sarah Biegel Photo” and do social media work as well.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all! But I wouldn’t change that. Moving around with the NFL while having babies really refined me. I used to be a planner, now I go with the flow. I used to despise change, now I embrace it. I used to be afraid of stepping out of my comfort zone, now I embrace it! Every place we moved and every child we had strengthened me and gave me experience. It’s those experiences you take with you and learn from. And it’s how we ended up here in Nashville!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I started my own photography business Sarah Biegel Photo (@sarahbiegelphoto). It started with a camera and wanting to take more photos of my kids growing up. I love to bake, so I dabbled in the food photography space. But ultimately, I love capturing memories and making people feel good. So I now shoot families, couples, maternity and more!
I also work as a social media content creator at @sarahmbiegel. I shared a few funny parenthood videos last year and they went viral and changed my life! I love being able to find community online and help parents know they’re not alone in their journey.
I also just picked up the guitar, so I’m excited to see where that goes!
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I have always had a creative bug from the start. I played piano when I was young and sang. However, I was extremely shy!
