Today we’d like to introduce you to Sonika Surati.

Hi Sonika, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi! I am a 33 year old wife and momma residing just outside of Nashville (Franklin) following my passion as a fashion lover all while raising 3 beautiful babies! Starting a blog is something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember but never really went for. I worked full time as a Medical Lab Tech until I had my daughter in April 2016; with that being said, I thought what better time to start a blog then now?! I had all the free time since I primarily stayed at home with my daughter day in and day out (besides our almost daily trips to Target 😜), so figured this would be the perfect time if any. Five years and three kids later, here I am with only one regret – not starting sooner!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Overall, yes! The only thing I struggle with every now and then is time management. Being a mom of three and all of my kids being back to back (ages 5, 3, 1) I feel like the past five years have been non stop! My oldest, Sabella didn’t start school until the age of four; and, my younger two are still at home with me full time so finding the time to focus on Styled by Sonika is the biggest struggle I have dealt with. At the end of the day, I work for myself so if that means staying up until midnight or spending nap times working on my brand – I can work with that!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Owner of Styled by Sonika – a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blog. My brand focuses primarily on fashion, but I love being able to share a little bit of everything else as well – overall, just being a source of as much as I can for my audience. Things I am most proud of would be the different brands I’ve worked with over the years and creating the platform I have to give me that opportunity. Many of these brands I’ve shopped with for years, and being able to work with them now can be surreal sometimes.

What matters most to you?
My audience. Without them, I couldn’t do what I do. There would be no Styled by Sonika without them!
