Life & Work with Sydney Hansen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sydney Hansen. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Sydney Hansen is a 19-year-old southern rock singer-songwriter and Nashville recording artist. Sydney is from Minnesota, the land of Bob Dylan, Prince, Turtles (the Trampled kind!), and many other music icons!

She started singing at 7, playing guitar and songwriting at 10, and her passion has only grown since.

Her newest single Somebody’s Nobody opened the doors to Nashville as she paired with legendary producer Kent Wells (Dolly Parton) for multiple singles culminating in her debut album. Her work from 2021 resulted in performances at 2022 CRS in Nashville.

Her presence on a stage set Nashville a buzz with her being “an artist to watch!” Sydney is positioned to break out in 2022 and will be releasing singles throughout this year and touring in MN, ND, TN, MO, NV, FL & more!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My music career has been on a smooth road overall and I will forever be grateful for all of the love and support given to me by everyone.

One thing that I did have to learn early on is that I was going to have to make a lot of sacrifices in my teenage years and grind out my music to make it a career.

Don’t get me wrong, I made time for friends and family, but I have always been very focused on my goals and I think that has helped me get to where I am today. I wouldn’t change a thing!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am musically known for my sultry southern rock sound.

In general, I’m known for being very humble and authentic and I plan on staying that way! I’m most proud of how hard I work and how determined I am to succeed with my passions.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
All social media apps help me spread my music to people across the world. Apps like Instagram and Facebook help me stay connected to fans by sharing my musical journey and content!
