Meet Amanda Pumphrey of Coffee roaster

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Pumphrey

Hi Amanda, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Pumphrey and Berad was founded in 2018 as a food truck and we were on several farmers markets. Then parked at the Land in Kingston Springs before moving to Little Harpeths Taproom in East Nashville. After the tornado of 2020 and COVID we opened our space in Dickson TN. We have also opened since then another store in LInden TN.
My inspiration comes from coffee education, roasting and serving the community a great cup of coffee.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No absolutely not. We have encountered everything from a pandemic , natural disasters to major financial set backs. You just pivot and keep going. Scaling up and down as the business dictates.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
