Meet Andrea Rothe and Ann Claire Johnson of Iris Financial Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Rothe and Ann Claire Johnson.

Hi Andrea and Ann, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My business partner and I started this business in 2014 purely out of the need to get out of the corporate grind and get our work-life balance back in order. We were both working long strenuous hours and didn’t have a healthy balance. We started working out of our houses and coffee shops to keep our costs as low as possible until we had some revenue to get an office. As we organically grew our company, we started to hire and now we have a staff of 13 Account Managers! We truly value each and every one of them, as they are such an integral part of our success! Ann Claire and I both enjoy numbers and accounting, and most importantly helping small business owners build a successful and profitable business!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
We definitely had some failures and obstacles to overcome, but that is what made us stronger!! Building our core team took some time, but we are finally at a position where every one of our staff members is so supportive and passionate about their work. Also, learning to say no. Early on, we would take any client that would come through our door, even if it wasn’t the right fit or personality, and then we realized that was not the right way to grow our business and quickly changed to ensuring every client we take on is a good fit for our service offerings!

We’ve been impressed with Iris Financial Group Inc, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Iris Financial Group is a comprehensive business services firm specializing in business accounting management, monthly accounting and financial reporting, and budgeting/forecasting services. Our ideal client base are small business owners and entrepreneurs. We handle almost all industries, and any business owner needs to have clean and accurate financials to properly run a business and make good decisions. What sets us apart from others is our passion, dedication and communication!! We strive to have strong bonds with our clients and we have a company policy where all communication needs to be responded to within 24 hours, which is a big attraction to our customers. Our brand and company is up with the times when it comes to utilizing technology to streamline systems and processes, so we can all be efficient. We pride ourselves in providing much more than transaction work, as we want to consult and strategize with our clients to help them become successful!
