Meet Ashley Cline of The Cline Collective

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Cline.

Hi Ashley, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My passion for helping others started long before real estate — even as a kid, I was the one volunteering and looking for ways to make a difference. I joined the U.S. Army at 17, which taught me discipline, leadership, and resilience — lessons that still guide me today. While earning my MBA, I worked in investment management and personal finance, where I learned how deeply tied our sense of security and possibility is to where we live. In 2020, I transitioned into real estate and found the perfect blend of service, strategy, and human connection.

Now, I serve clients across Nashville and throughout Tennessee — from Clarksville to Chattanooga — helping them find not just a home, but a place to truly belong.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road. I moved to Tennessee from Iowa in March of 2020 — just days before the tornadoes hit Nashville and right as the world shut down for COVID. I didn’t know a single person here, so I had to build everything from the ground up — my relationships, my network, and my business. Those early months were challenging, but they also shaped how I work today. They taught me to lead with authenticity, to connect deeply with people, and to keep showing up even when things feel uncertain.

We’ve been impressed with The Cline Collective, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a Nashville-based real estate agent with The Cline Collective at Bradford Real Estate, and I help people buy and sell homes across Middle Tennessee — from first-time buyers and growing families to those relocating or investing. I’m known for blending real estate expertise with lifestyle storytelling, helping clients not only find a home but fall in love with where they live.

My background in the Army, investment management, and personal finance gives me a unique edge — I approach every transaction with both strategy and empathy. I focus on educating my clients, protecting their interests, and making the process feel approachable and genuine.

What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Many of them become lifelong friends, and that’s really what sets my work apart — it’s never just about a sale. It’s about connection, community, and creating a life people truly love.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Integrity — without question. It’s something the Army instilled in me early on and it’s guided every decision since. In real estate, people are trusting you with one of the biggest moments of their lives, and that trust has to be earned through honesty, consistency, and follow-through. I believe success comes from doing the right thing, even when no one’s watching, and from showing up for people in a way that makes them feel genuinely cared for. That’s what builds loyalty, referrals, and long-term relationships — the kind that go far beyond a closing table.
