Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Cusack

Hi Ashley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began planning events in 2017 in Southern California. I worked with a non profit where we travelled all over the world teaching kids. In 2020, we had to pause our outreach and we were unsure of how long it would be until we could begin again. in 2021 I began working for EL Events in Nashville, Tennessee and quickly became a lead wedding planner. I fell in LOVE with wedding planning and feel so lucky to have stumbled into this profession. I have been planning weddings now for 3 years and recently started my own company, Ashley Cusack Events. We are the sister company to EL events and I am so excited to share my passion with every bride who inquires with me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have been extremely lucky in my journey, but that does not mean it was easy. Starting a business takes patience, dedication, and time. The wedding industry is mainly on social media, so you have to balance making instagram and TikTok posts, ads well as making videos in hopes you go viral and a bride finds you. Being a wedding planner is so much more than planning someones wedding. We are their best friend, their therapist, and the one they call at 3am because they had a dream and everything needs to change. We are quick on our feet, and extremely grateful to be part of someones love story and best day ever.

We’ve been impressed with Ashley Cusack Events, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Ashley Cusack Events is a wedding planning service where we specialize in full service wedding planning. We also offer partial planning, month of coordination, day of coordination, bridal showers, welcome parties, and any other events you can think of! We are based in Nashville, Tennessee but we travel for our clients! Tennessee, Florida, California, and Washington are a few we places we have weddings we are looking forward to in 2025/2026. What sets me apart are the connections I have made with vendors, my attention to detail, and the customization of packages and planning I can offer my brides. I pour my heart into every single couple and their wedding. When you book with me, you will have my full attention, and I encourage you to dream big because I will make it happen!

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is my relationship with my couples. We spend so much time together throughout the planning process because I want to get to know YOU! I will not have to ask you a random vendor question in the middle of your wedding day because I will know the answer. I am here to bring your vision to life just as much as I am here to listen to why Aunt Joy cannot sit next to Aunt Carol. I love my couples, and still talk to them after their weddings. I’ll even plan your baby showers!
