Meet Becca Bowen of Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Becca Bowen

Hi Becca, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My mom’s side of the family are very talented. Growing up I would see my uncles and grandpa playing the guitar and singing. Our family reunions were awesome. That truly inspired me to want to be involved in music. When I was 5 years old I started singing in church and that really shaped my career path. As far as songwriting goes I always looked up to Dolly Parton. She is an amazing story teller and her music inspired me to start writing my own music when I was 16 years old.

I always had this desire in my heart to sing. I wanted to carry on the family tradition of music. The moment that I knew I wanted to pursue this career was when I opened up for “Alabama”. I remember being on stage looking out into this massive audience . They were singing along with me and I knew right then I didn’t want to be doing anything else.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I always say if you want to be in the music industry you better be ready for a rollercoaster ride of emotions! This business is hard but when it works out it’s so rewarding! My journey has been tough to say the least. I spent a lot of time trying to prove myself in the industry. All that I have accomplished did not come easy. I held on to my faith and trusted that God would see me through and he has. I’m a dreamer and that keeps me pushing toward my goals!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My latest release, “Tangled In Your Love,” was written with my long time guitarist Sam Woods. “Tangled In Your Love” made a lot of people wonder if I was in a relationship and started the rumors spreading. It’s about an intoxicating kind of love. The kind of love you can’t get enough of. I may or may not have been experiencing that with someone. I will say that I don’t kiss and tell.

I am so proud to have been asked to perform at the Bridgestone Arena for the Nashville Preds and represent Nashville in the Music City Showdown. This has been an incredible experience to have been able to sing at the Arena twice this past year. Top of the list as well would be attending the CMA fest as an artist. seeing my hard work paying off has been surreal. 2025 was one of my most successful years for my music. I am so grateful to my fans for making it a year to remember!

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
I want to inspire listeners. I put music out about love, heartbreak and life’s journeys. I hope that my own experiences written in music helps empower people to find their own strength. I want to make a difference through my music. It’s all about leaving a legacy.
