Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Collins.
Hi Brian, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I moved to Nashville, TN. Six years ago. I started playing on Broadway to get the feel of playing music full-time. I was lucky to start touring and opening up for bands like Locash and Toby Keith. I’ve played with many singer-songwriters in my time in Nashville.
I got my first major artist gig in 2019 with American Idol, Alum Josh Gracin. Josh’s gig shaped my career as a drummer and a bandleader. In 2021, I was approached by hit songwriter, Adam Sanders to be his drummer.
We’ve been on tour with acts like Carrie Underwood, Dustin Lynch, Matt Stell, and Justin Moore. I’ve been very blessed to turn my dreams into reality, and I’m just getting started.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The first two years were very tough. Because when you move to Nashville. You’re not guaranteed to have success or get on a big gig. But I knew if I worked hard and put myself in the right places that I would make my dreams a reality.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Drummer/Singer-Songwriter. I’ve been playing drums since I was 10, and music has always been a major point in my life and it’s my pulse.
My proudest moment is when I got to bring my parents to my first stadium show and they saw how far I’ve come in my dreams.
What matters most to you?
Bringing the world positivity and life through music.
There’s so much going on in this world and being able to take that worry away from people just for a short period of time is very important to me.
