Meet Brittany Bishop of Tennessee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Bishop.

Hi Brittany, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
My name is Brittany Bishop, also known as Dreamartz, I am from Birmingham, Alabama, and I’m currently located in Nashville, Tennessee. I am a young entrepreneur. My skills include drawing, painting, digital art, custom apparel, rug making, and tattooing. I’ve always had a love for art and a passion for creating. I started watching my mom draw dresses when I was 6 years old. That was a huge inspiration for me. As an artist, I always believe there is no limit to going after your dreams. You are capable of doing anything that you put your mind to accomplish. I started Instagram in 2014. I would post my paper drawings and digital artwork inspired by songs or cool photos that I would see on my timeline. I started getting noticed by a few celebrities: Snoop Dogg, Dj Khaled, Kevin Gates, Mike Epps, Young Dolph, Gucci Mane, Trina, LaLa Milan, and a few others who would follow, repost or even ask for artwork for merchandise.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a smooth road?
In 2018-2020 I was fired from my job around the time Covid-19 started. Things were rough to stay afloat. I got into making custom apparel as a side hustle, which was a great decision. My tattoo journey was rocky worked in a few shops learning different styles and techniques to switch from paper to skin. I was grateful to have family and friends who were encouraging and willing to support me regardless of the outcome.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am well known for my creative eye for paying close attention to detail and fine-line tattooing. I love impacting clients by creating custom art that will always be memorable. I try to hold my head high, keep God first, and have a positive mindset. I am excited to start my new journey in Nashville at Steels World Of Ink Tattoo Studio around creative individuals creating new memories, impacting others, and looking forward to future opportunities.
