Meet Carly Klaire of New York

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carly Klaire

Hi Carly, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As a graphic designer the details always stick out to me. I have long been a collector of paper goods, anything from cool menus, posters, bar napkins, coasters – if it has fun typography, color or interesting illustrations I keep it!

Fast forward to designing stationery for my own wedding I couldn’t help but become obsessed with all the little things that make our love special – I wanted to share it with everyone! Our wedding branding carried through stationery, props, overall aesthetic palette, wearable swag, take-away gifts for our guests and more. And with that Lovers For Life was born, the content we created from our wedding found us our first client! It has now been three years and we couldn’t be more proud of the stationery work our studio is putting out.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Luckily yes! Over the past three years we’ve ramped up our client intake and have become fully booked throughout the year. I’m so happy to say our team is expanding – we’ve hired another day of coordinator and are looking to expand the design team as we speak!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a wedding designer I touch all things leading up to the main event through wedding day. This can mean so many physical things, but it really all starts with a strong wedding brand inspired by the couples love story, something LFL works hard at to keep our work unique. Your wedding branding can take form in a monogram or color palette or series of illustrations or even physical swag.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Nashville is such a unique city, I’ve traveled to the city for business and fun and each time I’ve discovered something new that makes me want to keep coming back. The history and the personality is unmatched…kinda like LFL!
