Today we’d like to introduce you to Celeste Kellogg.
Hi Celeste, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I grew up in a small town in Southeastern Virginia.
I started singing in Church Choir when I was 6. When I was 12, I auditioned for a Radio Disney group and was fortunate enough to perform with them for a year. We opened for the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, the Cheetah Girls, and Raven and performed at a Kelly Clarkson Concert.
At the age of 14, I attended a Camp in California called “School of Pop” and met music producer Andrew Lane. He realized how serious I was about country music and said “We need to take this to Nashville.” So I met him in Nashville. He took me right to music row and I started my first round of co-writes for my first album. I absolutely loved the city and the music on every corner.
It was so inspiring to the 14-year-old me. That began a series of back and forth trips to Nashville where I do my work in Nashville then go out and share my music beyond the city! That has brought me to the release of my newest single “Dirt Road Dancing” coming April 29th!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
While I have been very blessed to work with some amazing and talented people, the biggest struggle for me has been trying to get recognized on the next level in this HUGE sea of talent.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a singer/songwriter and Music Row Charting CMA Artist!
I have had two songs go to country radio: “Country Swagger” and “There’s a Beach Somewhere’, the latter charting in the top 40 of the Music Row Country Radio Airplay Charts. “There’s a Beach Somewhere” was also featured on Spotify’s Editorial Gulf and Western playlist from the creation of the playlist in 2019 until April of 2022!
My proudest moments are when I hear a song I wrote with my acoustic guitar in my bedroom come to life in the recording studio in Nashville. Nashville has some super talented musicians. It’s always cool to hear their take on my songs! I think I have a wide range of musical influences.
I was born in the 90s so some of my influences include Cher, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Alan Jackson, Alabama, Shania Twain, Reba McEntire, and the Eagles. Put all of that together, and that’s where I get my sound which I think is unique.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I think. Focus, determination, persistence, and hard work are qualities that lead to success. I try my best to be/do all of those things!

I’ve been a fan of Celeste Kellogg for a number of years now. I even had the opportunity to hear Celeste perform live at Bethel College. She is a very talented singer/songwriter. I wish her nothing but the best and I love her dog Salvo.
