Today we’d like to introduce you to Cody Uhls.
Hi Cody, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started a business in 3D design in 2024 called Daisy House Studios. I told my story in the last interview about how and why I started that. But since that last interview, I have expanded my business to include a new project simply called Daisy House – a new visual feedback system to help prevent the back-and-forth emails with clients and allows the clients or members of your team to give more precise feedback on images, videos, PDFs or audio files. I’m really excited about it. There isn’t a great software that allows you to upload multiple different file types and get feedback like this one.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has taken a lot of time and energy to grow the business. I think most entrepreneurs have this mindset where they have a great offer and it’ll be easy to gain traction, and that just isn’t always the case. Sometimes great ideas still fail for tons of different reasons. I thought when I got started with my 3D business that I would immediately find success, but obviously it wasn’t that easy. Someone told me one time that no one will hire me if they don’t know I’m there. It’s a simple but powerful idea. The idea that I needed to grind to get my name out so people will know I’m there and will hire me. It’s still a work in progress – especially with the new project, as well.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As an artist, I am a 3D artist. I create 3D renderings of products and architecture for firms and clients. If you have a product you’re getting to market, I can create all the visual content for you before it’s launched. If you’re building a building, you need to show people what it’s going to look like before it’s built, and that’s where I come in. One of the projects I’m most proud of is an animation project from last year. I had to create this animation of a bag unfolding and opening, but that visual isn’t easy. I reached out to some other artists with more experience than I have, and even they didn’t know how to do it. I spent almost two months testing and researching all methods and finally created an animation that even people with over 10 years of experience said they didn’t know how to do. So I guess that is what sets me apart – even when I don’t know how to do something, I will do everything in my power to learn and grow and get you the product you want.

I have talked about Daisy House Studios and my new project Daisy House, but I have a few other projects coming that I will be posting about soon. Since releasing Daisy House last month, I have been working on another app that I’m so excited about.
