Meet Danea Roberts of Rated V

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danea Roberts.

Danea, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started Rated V in 2019. It came out of pure determination to give Nashville and surrounding areas more vegan options with the low delivery costs. Where I am today came from constantly pushing myself and having such amazing customers (vegan family) come back and bring friends.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This hasn’t been smooth whatsoever. With entrepreneurship comes setbacks, let downs, and money loss. I struggled with find mentorship, help with events, canceling events because the kitchen rentals were outstandingly pricey. To be honest, I struggled with believing my business matter and if people would even care to purchase from me.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Rated V?
Rated V is a 100% vegan-food service that offers meal prep, catering, food delivery. We host pop-ups and attend events. We offer vegan food with an international flare. Whether it’s southern, Asian, Mexican, Caribbean, Italian-inspired, we’re here to serve! We’re known for our Philly Cheesesteak Nachos and some of what we’ve been told the yummiest Southern-inspired dishes.

I believe what sets us apart is our determination to feed everyone no matter how far. With deliveries reaching Murfreesboro-Gallatin, TN the possibilities to try great vegan food are endless with Rated V. One of my proudest brand moments was receiving recognition from Beyond Meat, a worldwide vegan brand company that’s largely known. And when checking out an article from Veg News, New York, and finding that they shouted my business out and I had no idea. I want readers to know that there are some major movements happening with Rated V that’ll allow them to get food faster and more often. Rated V is more than food!

It’s about community and inviting non-vegans to come and enjoy great food as well without the judgment of their current diet. They may just be one great vegan meal away from transitioning. I hope that all reading this comes and tries some delicious vegan food and allows us to EXPAND YOUR LEVEL OF VEGANISM!

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is my son! He’s my pure motivation to leave something behind that he can be proud of and hopefully grow into something bigger than I’ve ever imagined.
