Meet David Tobin

Today, we’d like to introduce you to David Tobin.

Hi David, I am so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Well, I’m not one to hide who spoke to me and why… But the world can know… 5 years ago, right when covid happened. Yahweh, God spoke to me in my car randomly and said I want you to be a beacon of light in the secular dark world of music. I had no idea why, where, and when I had never produced music before, nor did I know how to do it. 

But I heard, and I was obedient. He put a fire in my soul to reach the Lost in the Misled with Yahweh bars and Yahweh music; just cause it’s, Christian doesn’t mean it has to be boring. The lyrics are what matters. So, for the past 5 years, I’ve been making beat songs, and I got sponsored and signed to a non-exclusive contract with TikTok byte-dance. 

And I’ve been signed with them for two years now. I recently been going through a divorce/separation, and in that trial and in that time of hurt and just craziness, I didn’t know how to express myself, so I started to sing and spit bars on my beats, freestyle everything. 

The release that it gave me I couldn’t it was addicted I mean literally for 16 weeks straight every day I have not stopped, and I’ve tried if anything to see what my voice can do in the reaches it can hit and cadence blows that are just awesome Yahweh influenced everything. 

A lot of my songs have all kinds of parables in them, and sometimes I use my sinful nature and curse words in the beginning to catch the attention of the lost and misled, and then when they’re listening, I hit with food for their soul. 28.5 million streams later, that’s just on TikTok, but no promotions. God is pushing me to try harder, and I’m thriving the more I’m obedient to him… this is for his glory; I’m just a willing vessel. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
God has given me so much drive for the cause to save my brothers and sisters in Christ that God has removed anything that has become an obstacle from my path. I have contracts from P. Diddy himself right before he got arrested for a $10 million sponsorship, but that’s the devil trying to hand me a bone when God’s about to bless me, so I trust in my God. 

I know he’s a good, good father, so the devil isn’t got s*** on me because I have God in me, so I’m willing to turn down anything, any money. If it isn’t from God, I don’t want it. But that’s a choice I choose. I’ll turn down a bunch of contracts, but that was the most recent one. 

The only reason I didn’t talk about the only reason I didn’t take to TikTok was that it was non-exclusive, and they didn’t try to change anything I was about, and I kept all my masters. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from the rest is that I’m Yahweh, and music movement leaders influence me. I’ve been called to arms for you and yours… and mine and there’s. 

I’m the willing vessel leaving the 99 coming for the lost and misled… my goal is to express God’s love like real love, not religious organization-taught love, but Guapa love, unconditional love… The world needs love now more than ever, and people need to realize what love really is and what it means. 

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
Yeah, haters are good. They realize if they’re hating, you’re doing something they cannot do… but don’t be a hater back. Teach them the game and make them a fan… lol. 

I think. Differently, I love differently, and I say what I mean. I mean what I say I’m about a win-win life.

Everybody should win under-promise and over-deliver.
