Meet Deonta Johnson of Outrageous Ice Cream

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deonta Johnson.

Hi Deonta, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
This story begins in the Spring of 2020. Covid had just hit, my wife had just had our 4th daughter & we were all stuck in the house craving some ice cream. So being the creative person that I am, I began to do some research on some homemade ice cream recipes. After much trial and error, I developed a unique, one-of-a-kind ice cream. Little did I know that one night of craving some ice cream would lead to the start of a successful business.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Nothing in life comes easy. It has definitely been a learning process but in a positive way. I have learned how to take an idea and grow it into a business. I am learning to manage my business, work a full-time job and be a present and active husband and father of 4 girls.

Outrageous Ice Cream is a homemade ice cream company that takes ice cream to another level.

Outrageous Ice Cream is known for its unique ice cream and outrageous flavor.

When you ask what sets us apart from others… our flavor is not just a name-  IT’S REALLY IN IT!

I never would have thought my ice cream would have brought me this far—seeing the growth makes me proud.

What I want readers to know is that my ice cream isn’t like anything you have ever tried before, it’s truly one of a kind.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I feel the quality will always have to be “people approved” The success of your business comes from the people. The people have to like your product which in return will keep people coming. Word of mouth supports your business faster than anything else.
