Meet Derek Fry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Derek Fry.

Hi Derek, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a content creator on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. I am best known for talking about pop culture and influencer news. I began posting on social media back in 2020 while I was stuck in quarantine.

Since then, I’ve met and collaborated with renowned creators such as Charli D’Amelio, Dixie D’Amelio, Noah Beck, and many more. I look forward to seeing where this exciting journey takes me in the future!

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Over the past few years, I’ve learned a lot about who my real true friends and supporters are. My TikTok @officialderekfry has 1.1 million followers and it was no easy task. I’ve been banned multiple times and had to request the help of higher-ups to fix it.

Friends from the past have tried to mend our relationship simply because they saw I was blowing up on social media. My biggest supporter who’s been by my side, for almost 3 years now, is my boyfriend Zachary Graziosi.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am passionate about staying on top of pop culture news and viral social trends. The best part of my career is meeting and collaborating with other content creators in this space.

I’ve always had a love for the entertainment world ever since I was a kid. Now having the platform to be myself and discuss what’s happening in pop culture, is a dream come true! My main goal is to continue to grow in this industry and do my best to produce creative content for my audience.

So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why.
I think what matters to me the most is family. Over the past few years, I’ve come to realize who my true family is and who isn’t going to tear down for who you love and your occupation.

My parents, siblings, my grandma Jeanette, and my boyfriend’s family have been so supportive of my decision to be an influencer and public figure. I can fully be myself around them without any judgment.
