Meet Dona Maria

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dona Maria.

Dona Maria ANH

Hi Dona, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I started my career as well known about me at an early age, when I was 12 years old with a written story for kids and schools’ summer vacation programs considered my “Twins Secret” story in their summer tuition.

Surely, I used to sing everywhere at school festivals family gatherings occasions such as Christmas or birthday parties, etc. and I started creating my songs on the 14th till turned 18, I started getting paid gigs on every occasion throughout the year until I got the chance to be on stage as a professional singer and actor and that was happening fast all through the year of my 18th.

Before I turned 19th in 3 months another chance big chance knocked on my door by meeting one of the big names in the industry who’s a composer and a musician class A, with a recording studio and all that it needs for anyone who’s seeking fame. Phone calls, meetings and he adopted my talent as his daughter and we worked together on my first Hit No Quiero/La Mosh Aayza was signed by EMI Emilio Estefan and Melody Music in Egypt for the Egyptian version. Was on each TV and each radio in the world playing my songs and my videos because I did 2 videos for each version.

2016 car accident came back to life after 49 days of deep sleeping at the end of 2016 marriage, California pregnancy delivery, been working on my I’m album and comes after it “No More Tragedy” and TikTok Town, I can read your mind, fire and fuego till today.

2023 Billboard and Fox featured my work and it was another big step in my career, my latest release Faces 2023 that been featured on Billboard and Caras 2024 15 days ago as we are now on January 17, 2024. And I’m still working hard as my first day to reach more and take all my rights from life!

Thank you!

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No never, life in general isn’t a smooth road for anyone whatever his profession is. It’s a very difficult road. Struggles? A lot since I was 18 till today it has never been easy in any way and we will need another interview to talk about all the struggles faced me until today.

How do you define success?
If you feel happy with what you got or where you reached it means success, if you feel that you didn’t reach where you should or where you deserve to be it means you need to get back to work harder and put a new strategy for your career path.
