Meet Dr. Jennifer Loveday of HoneyBee Chiropractic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Jennifer Loveday.

Hi Dr. Jennifer, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Emily and I have always dreamed of starting a business together. It’s pretty rare, and maybe a little crazy to hear of sisters wanting to commit to working side by side every single day. Fortunately, we found ourselves working together in an amazing chiropractic office, where we gained invaluable experience in how to run a successful business.

So, where did the name HoneyBee come from? Growing up, our dad kept a hive of honeybees, and over the years, this became a meaningful family symbol. When it was time to name our practice, HoneyBee Chiropractic was an easy choice, arguably the simplest decision we’ve made for our business. The name carries multiple layers of significance for our family, but most importantly, it represents community, the way a hive works together to support one another in achieving a shared goal. That spirit embodies what HoneyBee stands for.

Our mission is to support moms through pregnancy, postpartum, and the journey of raising a family. Both of us have two children, and we’ve seen firsthand how vital it is to be there for women during these meaningful yet often challenging moments when they need support the most and can sometimes feel the most isolated. We are committed to providing a caring space where families feel empowered, connected, and supported every step of the way.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting a new business is never easy and comes with lots of life lessons. We have put our heart and soul into this business. Our biggest obstacle was time and learning how to build out a new space. Our plan was to find an existing space and renovate-we ended up being led to a brand-new build with more time required to get our doors open. We have been lucky to have such an amazing support system to encourage us when we felt like things were not moving as quickly as we hoped.

We are fortunate to have almost a decade of experience helping to run and operate a chiropractic office, so we have the confidence and ability to serve and support the women of this community. I guess you could say the biggest obstacle of time was having to wait what ended up being just over a year to be able to get back to what we do best.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about HoneyBee Chiropractic?

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
First, we would not be anywhere without God guiding and directing our path to HoneyBee Chiropractic. Looking back, on many occasions we can see how God put certain situations or people into our lives for this moment. Next, our parents, Bill and Leslie, are the foundation of everything we’ve built. I can confidently say that HoneyBee wouldn’t be here without them. Our parents were educated on the many benefits of chiropractic care for the whole family and took the initiative to get everyone started with regular care. Their influence runs deep – because our father was introduced to chiropractic care to manage his debilitating back pain, our entire family was able to experience the benefits from a young age. This not only transformed our dad’s life—allowing him to play with his grandkids, spend hours in the garden pain-free, and live fully—but also inspired us to pursue a profession dedicated to transforming others’ lives through chiropractic care. Our mother is our biggest supporter and best friend. She is the strongest woman we know, and she raised us to be the same. Her strength and values gave us the confidence to open HoneyBee. Our older sister Megan has been an incredible supporter, dedicating hours of her time and talent to help shape our brand. She hand-drew our logo and created our posters, demonstrating her exceptional eye for design and her ability to see things from a unique perspective. Her artistic talent and creative vision have truly helped define our identity. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the unwavering support of our family. My husband Nathaniel, along with Jalen—Emily’s husband—has been incredibly patient and encouraging throughout this journey. Their presence and support have made all the difference.
