Meet Eliana of Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eliana.

Hi Eliana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been singing as long as I can remember! Music has always just made so much sense to me. It has been the through line in my life and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I started singing in church when I was younger and did an open mic here and there. Once I was old enough to start paying for my recordings (lol) I got a producer and released my debut ep “Hold on” this past February on 2/21. I now have a few singles ready to go this summer including my next one “oyster” on June 20th! I’m so thankful to be singing in any capacity and wont be stopping anytime soon 🙂

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been in smooth road in the sense of knowing what I want to do so it never feels useless or like work to me… butttt there have been many obstacles that I know are normal. It’s super hard to get people to believe in and take you seriously. Since I am not the most keen or good at social media that has also been a bit of a struggle. These are all normal young artist problems and I know I am not alone which helps.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I think I’m definitely known more for being a singer but I also act as well! I went to community collage for a year and majored in theater. I took acting classes outside of school and I am now signed to an agency! Something else people might not know is I also write all my own songs. Im looking forward to stepping more into that role and showing that side of myself.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I think what has worked for me is just motion in general. What I mean by that is just by going out and letting opportunity find you is the first step. One thing leads to another thing which leads to another. Even serving tables which I have done for a long time can bring people to you in such unexpected ways. Also praying about it and a little confidence never hurt anyone either 🙂
