Meet Envy of East

Today we’d like to introduce you to Envy .

Hi Envy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started doing online comedy videos on Instagram in late 2014. At the beginning of 2015, I decided to kick it up a notch by including dance videos in my becoming a content creator and came up with my brand name, @ubettagofatboy, on Instagram and Facebook. in 2018. I took my brand over to TikTok, musical.ly at the time. I found it as a way to both express my creativity and create a world of peace, laughter, and joy. It’s also an outlet that helps me manage my depression and anxiety. In 2019, I wanted to put my camera to good use by starting my Photography And Film Business, Envyzionz. As of today, I am still creating content that keeps everyone laughing, dancing, and motivated, but also to help others promote their businesses and brands as well as my own and so much more.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, It has not been a smooth road. There were many times when I felt like I did not support myself, and that feeling was Intensified whenever I went through a creative setback. There were times when I had self-doubt, constantly feeling like I was never good enough for any opportunity. Plus, dealing with ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety all at once put more weight on my shoulders. I also felt discouraged because I would pretty much do everything alone.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I started doing comedy videos in 2014 because I felt laughter is the best medicine for getting through life for myself and others. In 2019, I started Envyzionz, a Photography And Film Business, to help others bring their vision to life. I love seeing others light up and be the best version of themselves. Although Envyzionz is the company, @ubettagofatboy is what I’m known well for and my work. I am most proud of being able to put a smile on someone’s face, especially if they’re having a bad or battling ADHD/depression/anxiety. I want them to know they’re both loved and supported.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I try to keep a positive mindset, surround myself with like-minded individuals, and either write or read daily affirmations. Also, I always remember to keep God in my life. I want to keep inspiring people to succeed just as much as I want it for myself. Every day, I pour all of myself into what I do. No matter what, I always have faith in myself and my abilities.
