Meet Farrah and Bathsheba Thomas of Thomas Runway Boutique

Today we’d like to introduce you to Farrah and Bathsheba Thomas.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I got let off from managing at another boutique and my sister lost her job due to Covid-19 But what we couldn’t understand and what seemed to be our worst days, looking back was all God’s plan.

He had so much more in store for our future.

If we had not lost our jobs, we would have still been loyal to them, and my sister Bathsheba and I would have never started Thomas Runway. There’s a rainbow and reasoning after every storm!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wouldn’t say it has been a smooth road. There’s a new obstacle to tackle every day. But anything worth having doesn’t come easy. We love the challenges that come along with running a business.

Nothing makes us feel more accomplished than solving a problem on our own.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I think what makes us so proud of Thomas Runway is that we truly care and put our heart and soul into this business. We strive every day to be better.

When a customer is dissatisfied, so are we. When a customer is happy, it always puts the biggest smile on our faces. We always refer to it as our “big baby” because we grew it from something small to something so spectacularly large. Large enough to employ and support our family in a short year and a half.

You can always expect us to have the beautiful, unique pieces that every girl wants to stand out and feel beautiful. And that is so important to us. We specialize in our speedy fast shipping and being able to dress you for any upcoming event you may have!

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I almost always have Theo Vons, “This past weekend” blasted while working. He’s basically a co-worker at this point.

But in all honesty, when it comes to resources, and motivation we have to give all glory to God. Without His word and guidance, we wouldn’t be where we are today and for Him we are thankful.
