Meet Frank Neely of Jackson Tn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Frank Neely.

Hi Frank, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve loved photography since I was a kid, starting with a simple Kodak 110 film camera and capturing whatever caught my eye—cars, classmates, and everyday moments. Back then, I’d excitedly wait for my film to be developed, not knowing how the pictures would turn out. I never pursued it professionally at first, but years later, I picked up a camera again with a new passion and a more serious approach. Now, I focus on filmmaking, capturing weddings, nature, and real, meaningful moments. It’s what drives me, keeps me creative, and allows me to tell stories that last a lifetime.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, but every challenge has shaped me into the filmmaker I am today. When I picked up a camera again, I had to relearn everything—how to use modern equipment, editing software, and It wasn’t easy, and there were moments of doubt, frustration, and trial and error.

Investing in quality gear was another hurdle, but I knew that if I truly wanted to pursue this passion, I had to commit. Finding clients and building confidence took time, but I learned that persistence and passion open doors. Every struggle became a lesson, every setback fueled my growth, and every success—big or small—reminded me why I love what I do.

The journey has taught me that if you truly love something, you keep going, no matter the obstacles. You learn, you adapt, and you push forward because the passion outweighs the struggle. And in the end, every challenge makes the victories even more rewarding.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in filmmaking, focusing mostly on capturing moments that matter, whether it’s a wedding or a beautiful nature scene. I’m known for my ability to really capture the emotion and authenticity of the moment. What I’m most proud of is how my work helps tell people’s stories and create memories that last. What sets me apart is my passion for the craft—I’ve been doing this for years and always put my heart into every project.
