Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabrielle Rene.

Hi Gabrielle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
HI! I am Gabi, owner of Sage Coterie – a social media marketing agency centered around “The Influencer” instead of the brand.

As a long-time marketing director and micro-influencer myself, I continuously found myself being asked how to get partnerships that actually pay and make an income via my social media.

After years of influencer coaching, I created this agency while living full-time van life and exploring the country!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not! Finding the right people to partner with especially the right employees or business partners is always the most difficult part. You have to vibe well and many people willing to work for a start-up are just not qualified.

It was a rocky start but I have now aligned with some incredibly passionate and ambitious people.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Sage Coterie?
Sage Coterie is a full-service social media agency but the core of our work is helping secure paid partnerships for the busy or less knowledgeable influencers.

Any influencer of any size now has the potential of getting paid for their social media presence and not many people know how to monetize that. I specialize in growth tactics, branding details, content creation, confidence coaching, and life coaching for the business-minded woman.

Every person is taken on case by case with a custom-tailored plan for them!

What were you like growing up?
I have been an entrepreneur since the dawn of my time.

Always trying to grow a network (I guess as a kid, friendship) and make money in fun and innovative ways. I strayed often from the casual lemonade stand into a summer camp I ran out of my backyard, managing my brother’s baseball team fundraising, and even having a drive-through waffle pancake house.

I love love love to help like-minded women and travel the most. Those two things have to be the most important aspects of my life and often business. I lived in a van full time for a year which I now rent out over on @bobo_the_van and have lived all over the world, including Spain, Greece, and Australia!
