Haley Bundy got her start in music growing up in a small Appalachian town in southeastern Ohio, where she first found her voice singing alongside her dad in the kitchen and at family gatherings. By age 13, she was performing regularly at local gigs and karaoke bars, and by 17, she had already logged over 200 live shows—including a debut at the iconic Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Nashville. That same year, she earned a top-3 finish in the inaugural American Idol × Ohio State Fair Vocal Competition, which secured her a VIP audition with American Idol. At just 14, she co-wrote her first song, “June,” with her father—marking the beginning of her journey as a songwriter. Influenced by legends like Stevie Nicks and Amy Winehouse but deeply rooted in her Appalachian heritage, Haley’s early start in music was defined by raw talent, deep family ties, and a relentless drive to share her voice.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Haley Bundy is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter known for her soulful, Appalachian-inspired sound that blends indie-folk, Americana, and pop. She regularly performs around Nashville at venues like The Listening Room Café, Tin Roof, and Dave & Buster’s near the Grand Ole Opry, while also returning to Ohio for shows. As of 2025, she has released four singles—“June,” “Glow,” “My Problem Is You,” and “In Love With Love Again”—each showcasing her emotional depth and distinctive voice.
