Today we’d like to introduce you to Inga Casha.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always been drawn to creating spaces that feel deeply personal and lived in—places that tell a story. That thread goes back to my childhood in Eastern Europe, where I grew up in an orphanage. Even then, I was constantly imagining what “home” could look and feel like. I would draw, paint, and play under the willow trees, pretending they were houses and dreaming up the details. At the time, I didn’t realize it, but those daydreams were the earliest seeds of what would later become my career.
When I came to the U.S. as a teenager, I wasn’t sure what my professional future would look like. I studied business in college because it felt open-ended, but what consistently lit me up was creativity. Babysitting for families in Nashville, I found myself completely captivated by beautifully designed rooms. I also watched my parents work with an interior designer, and for the first time I realized this was a real profession—one that combined artistry with function and could change the way people live.
Life took me on the path of marriage and motherhood first, and raising five children became my greatest joy and responsibility. But even in those years, the pull toward design never left me. While pregnant with our fourth child, I briefly worked alongside a designer friend, and it was like everything clicked—I knew this was what I was meant to do. I enrolled in classes, started my studio in 2019, and slowly built from one client at a time.
Today, I get to bring my clients’ visions to life nationwide, blending European inspiration, antiques, and timeless materials. Beyond design, I’ve expanded into a lifestyle brand that reflects my love for hosting, travel, and everyday slow living. For me, it’s about more than creating beautiful rooms—it’s about crafting spaces and moments that feel like home, in the truest sense of the word.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been an easy road. In fact, at times this journey has felt really lonely. One of the hardest parts of building a design studio is that there isn’t one clear blueprint for how things should be done. Every studio operates differently depending on their needs, their team, and the scale of their projects, so a lot of it has been trial and error for me.
There were seasons when I felt unsure if I was doing things the “right” way—or if there even was a right way. I’ve had to figure out the ins and outs largely on my own, and that process has been both humbling and stretching. Even now, as my studio grows, I find myself continually tweaking and adjusting how I work in order to better serve clients and manage projects at a larger scale.
What I’ve come to realize is that mistakes and challenges aren’t signs of failure—they’re part of the process. This road has required me to stay adaptable, willing to learn, and open to change. And while it hasn’t always been smooth, it’s also what’s shaped me into the designer and business owner I am today.
We’ve been impressed with Inga Casha Interiors , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My studio is a full-service interior design practice where we focus on creating timeless, European-inspired spaces that are elevated yet deeply livable. What I love most about design is weaving together beauty and functionality—spaces that not only look stunning but also serve the rhythms of everyday life. I draw a lot of inspiration from European architecture, antiques, organic textures, and a more collected, layered way of living, which I think sets my work apart.
I work with clients nationwide, guiding them through everything from full-home design and renovations to sourcing unique, storied pieces that bring character to a space. Each project is highly tailored—I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I spend time getting to know my clients’ lifestyles, values, and the way they want their homes to feel, and then we build from there.
Beyond interiors, I’m also building a lifestyle brand that reflects the world around my work—hosting, motherhood, travel, and slow living. For me, design is just one piece of a larger story of how we live and connect with others. I want my brand to inspire not only beautiful homes, but also beautiful moments of gathering, creating, and savoring life.
What I’m most proud of, brand-wise, is that everything I do is rooted in authenticity. I want my clients and my audience to feel seen, cared for, and inspired. At the end of the day, my hope is that people experience my work not as a “service” but as a relationship—a journey of creating spaces and moments that feel like home
How do you define success?
For me, success isn’t measured just by the size of my business or the scale of projects I take on—it’s about alignment. I define success as being able to create a life where my work, my family, and my values all coexist in harmony.
On a professional level, success is when I see a client walk into their finished home and feel an emotional connection—when the space reflects not just beauty, but who they are and how they want to live. That sense of joy and belonging means more to me than any accolade ever could.
On a personal level, success is being present with my husband and our five children, and knowing that I’m building something meaningful without sacrificing the moments that matter most at home.
Ultimately, success to me looks like growth with authenticity—continuing to stretch, refine, and expand, but always staying grounded in why I started: to create spaces and moments that embody beauty, belonging, and home.
