Today we’d like to introduce you to Jady Kasinger.
Jady, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
JadyK began as a small brick-and-mortar boutique in Mount Juliet, TN in 2018. When COVID hit in 2020 and we had to temporarily close, we decided to pivot. We begin designing our own line of bralettes that solved the biggest complaints we often heard from customers that came into our store: poor fit, thin pads, and lack of inclusive sizing. We launched our first design that summer, and it sold out almost immediately.
Since then, we’ve scaled from a local boutique into a national brand with both wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels, sold over 500,000 bralettes, partnered with hundreds of boutiques, and even made the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. It’s been a journey of resilience, creativity, and a lot of learning — but most of all, it’s been about creating products women truly love to wear.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. We’ve faced plenty of challenges, especially balancing a growing business with raising two young kids. There were times when we were packing orders late at night, handling customer service during nap time, and making big business decisions with very little certainty.
We’ve had to take a lot of risks along the way and lean heavily on faith to guide us through the fast growth phases. Scaling quickly can be exciting but also overwhelming, making sure production keeps up, maintaining quality, and staying on top of trends while keeping our core values intact. Looking back, those risks and leaps of faith are what pushed us forward and shaped JadyK into what it is today.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
JadyK is all about helping women feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in their own skin. We design and manufacture bralettes that combine support, softness, and style — because we believe comfort should never mean sacrificing confidence.
What makes us different is our attention to fit and detail. Every JadyK bralette is designed with real women in mind, from our signature Helping Hands™ single-insert padding that actually stays in place, to our wide supportive bands and inclusive sizing that runs from S/M to 2X/3X.
We’re proud that our brand has become known for quality, comfort, and inclusivity — but also for the community around it. Whether it’s through our boutique partners, our live show takeovers, or our loyal customers online, JadyK has grown into something that celebrates women at every stage of life. That’s what we’re most proud of, building a brand that truly makes women feel good every day.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Risk has been part of our story from the very beginning. When we pivoted from a local boutique to designing and manufacturing our own line during the pandemic, that was a massive leap. We invested in product development, inventory, and branding with no guarantee that it would work, but we believed in the vision.
Since then, scaling JadyK has meant constantly taking calculated risks: producing larger runs, expanding into new categories, hiring a team, and growing both wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels. Each decision came with uncertainty, but also opportunity.
I view risk as the bridge between where you are and where you want to be. It’s not about recklessness; it’s about believing in your mission enough to move forward even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed.
