Meet Jessica Lee of Bree Beauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Lee. 

Hi Jessica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a Nashville native who has a natural passion for the beauty industry beginning at a young age. My grandmother was a songwriter/singer who introduced me to the world of glam. She always had different wigs and would bring me “ball gowns” (stage apparel) to dress up in. Life was her stage. She looked glamorous everywhere she went. I believe she had a significant influence in my career choice. 

I studied at Paul Mitchell the School Nashville and landed 2 trips to Vegas where I was able to study under some of the best in the industry and work my first big hair show. 

As a master stylist with many years of experience behind the chair and runway, I felt it was time to hone in on my specialty, extensions! I am an extension specialist and colorist with the ability to see the natural beauty we all possess; I just enhance it! I enjoy working in Nashville and am currently working on building my brand and business, Nashville Extension Lab within the walls of Bree Beauty Co. 

When I am not working, I’m spending time with my a husband, two children, and our fur babies. My hope is that our children will follow by example and pursue their dreams fearlessly! 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting a new business is no easy task. Especially with two young children, I often struggle with work/home balance. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an extension specialist and master colorist. I love nothing more than enhancing someone’s look and doing complete transformations. I am able to completely customize a look for my guest whether it be natural and subtle or over the top glamorous. I love the versatility hair extensions provide. 

I am certified in 5 methods of extensions and specialize in machine weft and hand-tied extensions. 

the confidence my guests feel after our time together is the absolute best! 

I’m most proud of bringing joy to my guests, my ability to connect and listen is what sets me apart. My attention to detail on every level is what, I believe, makes me a great stylist! 

What makes you happy?
My family is what makes me most happy and the opportunity to work in a career that affords me the flexibility to spend quality time with them. I love what I do!
