Today we’d like to introduce you to Jinexa Linares.
Hi Jinexa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I arrived in the United States in 2021, directly in Nashville, Tennessee. I never imagined that one day I would be sitting here writing these words to share a little bit of my story.
That year was filled with emotions, changes, uncertainty, and many challenges. Moving to a new country was not easy, especially because my primary language is Spanish. Suddenly, I found myself in a completely different place, surrounded by new customs, new people, and a language I did not yet fully understand.
There were moments when I felt lost and uncertain, but over time, I understood that every process has a purpose. Even when I could not clearly see where life was taking me, God was already guiding my steps.
Today, I still live in Nashville, and I can look back with so much gratitude. I am an independent and grateful woman, and I am aware of how much I have grown through every experience. Every chapter has taught me something, made me stronger, and allowed me to discover abilities I did not even know I had.
But above all else, I am a mother.
I have a son who has been one of the most beautiful gifts God has given me. Becoming a mother changed the way I see life, my priorities, and even my dreams. He is one of my greatest motivations to keep growing, building, and believing in everything that is still ahead.
My faith holds a very special place in my life. I deeply love and respect God, and I believe that both the good experiences and the difficult ones I have faced are part of a greater purpose.
I have learned that we do not always need to have all the answers in order to keep moving forward. There are moments when we simply have to trust, take another step, and believe that God is working, even when we cannot see the results yet.
I am also a woman who is passionate about business, sales, and growth.
I have a degree in Public Accounting with a concentration in Business Administration, but my connection to the business world began long before I earned my degree.
From a young age, I grew up around my parents’ business. I learned by watching, helping, interacting with people, and gradually understanding what it means to work, sell, serve, and build something of your own.
That is where I began developing a gift that I recognize in myself today: my passion for sales and business.
I am passionate about discovering people’s potential. I love seeing people grow when they have dreams, discipline, and the desire to move forward. I enjoy supporting, encouraging, connecting, and contributing through my knowledge and experiences.
To me, business has never been only about selling a product or generating income. It is also about creating opportunities, building relationships, adding value, and, whenever possible, being part of someone else’s growth.
And within this journey, there is a project that is very special to me: IDEMS Store, my online store.
IDEMS has a meaning that goes far beyond a brand. It is an expression that represents much more than simply saying “I love you.” It originated with my mother as a special way of expressing her love for her three daughters.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been easy. One of the greatest challenges has been getting to know and learning how to live in this wonderful country—to adapt to its language, its culture, its customs, and a new way of seeing life.
But perhaps one of the hardest parts has been being far away from my parents, my siblings, and my family. Being away from the people you love makes every moment, every celebration, and every hug carry a different meaning.
And there are some kinds of pain that feel even deeper when you are far from home. Losing loved ones and not being able to be there to say goodbye, hug your family, or support them during those difficult moments is one of the most painful experiences I have ever had to face.
I have learned that immigrating does not simply mean starting a new life somewhere else. It also means learning how to live with the distance, the longing, and the moments you wish you could have shared with the people you love.
I made a change I had always wanted to make: I spent ten years growing out my hair so I could donate it to children with cancer. I contacted a foundation in Ohio and was able to donate my hair.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am currently going through a period of personal and professional change and transformation.
For the past two years, I worked at a law firm, where I had the opportunity to help the Hispanic community in the United States obtain legal representation after being involved in car accidents.
My role was as a manager of a team of more than 30 people. I was responsible for supporting, guiding, and helping my team members achieve their monthly goals, develop strategies, and meet the sales targets for the services we offered. It was an experience that allowed me to grow tremendously, both professionally and personally.
I loved what I did, and I am deeply grateful for everything I learned during that time, for the people I met, and for every experience that helped shape me into the woman I am today. However, there came a moment when I realized that my time there had served its purpose and that it was time to give myself the opportunity to begin a new chapter.
Today, I am focused on building a more independent life, exploring new opportunities through social media, and looking for projects or companies where I can contribute my knowledge, experience, and, above all, my passion for helping others grow.
I am proud of the woman I have become. I do not believe that anyone is more or less than anyone else. We all have different stories, talents, and paths. But if there is something I feel sets me apart, it is my honesty, my sense of responsibility, and my belief in fair work and doing things with purpose.
I want to use everything I have learned to inspire and support other women, especially mothers and women who may have doubted themselves at some point or forgotten just how much they are capable of achieving.
What are your plans for the future?
I want to continue discovering everything I am capable of, challenging myself, learning, and proving to myself that I can always go a little further.
In the future, I see myself as an independent, confident woman who is capable of achieving her dreams and goals while still enjoying the journey along the way.
I want to continue growing in every area of my life, creating new opportunities, and, above all, watching my home and family grow and thrive. To me, true success is not only about what I can achieve individually, but also about being able to provide stability, well-being, and a future full of opportunities for my family.
I know I still have so much to learn, so many dreams to accomplish, and so many paths to explore. But I am certain that I want to keep moving forward with faith, determination, and gratitude.
