Today we’d like to introduce you to John Crespo.
Hi John, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I graduated high school I was kind of like in limbo as far as what I wanted to do with my life. So I decided to join the army. That experience gave me direction as far as just respect for leadership respect for my country and respect for myself. When I got out of the military I decided to go to college and get a degree in Business administration. From there I was able to secure position with JP Morgan Chase supporting the small business industry. That is where my passion for the small business community developed. And working with small businesses to be able to secure bank accounts and funding and things like that I realize that a lot of the small businesses don’t really understand the administrative side of running a business. They are excellent at what they do as far as their product or service but the administrative side needed some serious support. So I started working on the side supporting a couple small businesses with their administrative needs such as bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial documents etc. That’s when I realized there was a true business need in our community so I started my Business CFD Services Inc.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wish I could say it was a smooth ride from the beginning. It was a scary ride to say the least. I had to make the decision to leave a good-paying job with a guaranteed paycheck twice a month, to relying on myself for the income I needed to support my family. And there was a whole lot of learning in that process. I made some bad decisions and I made some great decisions but the journey is one I’ll never regret. They say experience is priceless and I can’t agree with that more!

CFD Services Inc was created to bridge the gap for small businesses in getting access to administrative resources such as consulting, bookkeeping services, tax preparation and planning, and Payroll Services to name a few.
