I started as a child when my father, who is a drummer & a vintage drum collector put me on a drum set at age 3. I’m from Adair Co Kentucky, which is known for their award winning marching band, which my entire family on the Yates side has been apart of for generations. I come from a family of oil well drillers in KY & mom’s side is all Military (Army)

I persued music full time at the age of 31, after teaching music lessons privately at Mom’s Music in Louisville, KY! I moved to louisville at age 21 working In news media on air for radio & tv (Warner brothers)

I went on to eventually move away from Louisville KY (25 years there) after suffering a near paralysis spinal cord injury from an attack there.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Yes. Always do anything and everything that scares you. If you don’t, you can’t jump into something magical.
