Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaleb Seay.
Kaleb, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m just a kid chasing a dream.
Growing up in church, I was immediately drawn to music. Whether it was banging on pots and pans in the kitchen or learning piano without knowing how to read a single note, I found a passion early — one that never let go. I’ve had it all… and I’ve lost it all just as fast. That’s why I take so much pride in this journey. Halfway through my freshman year of college, I lost myself. I had to face the trauma I tried to bury for so long. Sports had always been my outlet, but during COVID, when everything stopped, I was forced to pause and reflect. I realized that anger and hatred had become my only way to cope. I’d let it build and pour out on the field — but off the field, I was lost. I needed to heal. Not with rage, but with something real.
That’s when I started writing again. I needed a way to process, to guide myself back if I ever found my mind in that dark space again. Then one night, everything changed. I was just singing over some chords on the keyboard when someone knocked on my door and asked if I made music. I told him I wrote from time to time. He went and grabbed his mic — and the rest is history. Since then, I’ve opened for Waka Flocka, and I’ve performed in rooms with only three people. I’ve learned that it’s never about the size of the crowd — it’s about the love for the craft, the power of the message.
I’m here to give hope to the next kid — to show them that no matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, you can overcome. That’s why I created Dream Landing — an event not just for dreamers, but for those ready to land their dreams. It’s a space for upcoming artists to not only be heard — but to be listened to.
This August 2nd, we’re showcasing artists like ItsJaleel and YRCJ from Memphis. This isn’t just another event. It’s a movement. It’s a chance. It’s a community. If you don’t remember anything else, remember this:
Let All Negativity Drain Out.
You can do whatever you put your mind to.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My greatest struggle hasn’t been the road itself, but the journey within. Sure, there have been external obstacles, but the most difficult ones to face were the ones I created for myself. My toughest battle has always been with me. The real challenge on this path is maintaining confidence in my own ability while carrying the weight of fear — not fear of the road ahead, but fear of falling short. Fear of not becoming the person I hope to be. I am both my biggest obstacle and my greatest source of strength. But I no longer see this inner conflict as a struggle. The road I’m on isn’t a burden — it’s an opportunity. An opportunity to grow, to rise, and to become the person I’ve always believed I could be.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Media Visions Advertising, we take your company’s mission and goals and align them with our proven strategies to deliver real results. What we do goes beyond just promotion — we help brands grow with purpose. What makes me most proud isn’t just the success itself, but seeing the look on a client’s face during our monthly check-ins. There’s something powerful about watching someone trust us with their vision — and then watching that vision come to life. We don’t just offer marketing services; we build relationships that last. Every strategy we create is customized, every campaign crafted with intention.
At Media Visions, we build the bridge — so others can reach their destination.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My mom and my sister deserve all the credit. They’re my headaches, but my biggest reason to keep going. I also want to thanks my brothers for being honest and always supporting no matter where they are in their lives. I want to thank my mentors, James Danella and Frank Roger’s, for giving me the opportunity to gain knowledge, and seeing something in me I didn’t see in myself. Never to forget, thank God for keeping me along this journey.
