Meet Kasey Freeman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kasey Freeman.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey starts with the people-first mentality. In the beginning, I was a journalist where I told stories on the local morning news. I covered everything from storms, crimes, and feature stories. The features were my favorite by far. I love people and talking to them about their interests and passions. Then in 2020, I transitioned from TV news to real estate.

I’ve always loved getting to know people and solving their problems. It was one of the things that drew me to tv news. So, helping first-time homebuyers find their starter home became my new passion. I use that same drive to fight for the best deal for my clients. One thing that I see as a need in my community is education. Every day, I educate my clients about real estate and what’s to come in the market. Earning their trust is my priority! That’s how I go to where I am today.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course, it hasn’t been a smooth road. However, it’s definitely been a road worth traveling. My parents have always told me bumps and bruises only add to my character. That’s what makes me the person I am today. I’m always been a fighter.

Climbing the corporate ladder in TV news is hard and cause for all days and nights. So does real estate! NO matter what industry you’re in competition is natural and being the best is how you earn your place. So, every day, I wake up wanting to be better than I was yesterday.

When I was younger, I was afraid to speak in front of a class. No matter how it appeared on the outside, my insides were trembling. Now, I don’t look at it as a fear, but an opportunity to help someone else.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
After six years in retail as a high school and college student, I know the importance of customer service. I specialize in accomplishing people’s needs. I love to see my friends, family, and clients with a smile on their faces! I’m most proud of making my grandparents proud. Everything they thought of me before they passed lives with me every day.

They’ve thought me to be proud of where I’ve come from and my parents teach me to be bold to step into the future. I know that what’s for me will be for me because God has a special plan for my life and no one can take that from me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I do not believe in “luck” only God’s plan for me. Faith has brought me this far and it will continue to carry me through life and business.
