Hi Kendall, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always loved weddings. Like most girls my age, I had Pinterest boards full of inspo saved for “someday.”
When I finally got married, I was SO excited to have a husband—but I was kind of bummed that the planning part was over. That’s when it hit me(with the push from my husband): why not keep the fun going and turn this into a business? So I did!
Content creation felt like a natural add-on. I’ve always had a thing for cameras—both of my grandpas were into photography, and my dad says I got that bug from them. I seriously love being able to capture all those little behind-the-scenes moments that couples don’t always get to see on their big day.
Since starting my business, I’ve worked with the sweetest couples from all kinds of backgrounds. I’ve helped plan everything from 10-person elopements to full-blown 400-guest parties—and every single one has been incredible!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have definitely been challenges with starting a business. There’s been a ton of startup costs, and I’ve worked some absolutely wild events that made me question everything.
But honestly, the hardest part has been juggling it all while also being a second grade teacher. I’m not at the point yet where I can leave the classroom, so sometimes I have to miss school for weddings, and other times, the nonstop schedule really takes a toll.

I run a wedding planning and content creation business—which basically means I’m the calm in the chaos, (also proven by the fact I’m a 2nd grade teacher in my spare time). I help plan weddings big and small (seriously, I’ve done everything from 10 to 400 guests), and I through content creation capture all the behind-the-scenes moments that couples usually miss while they’re busy, you know, getting married.
I’m known for being super organized, quick on my feet, and pretty fun to have around on wedding day. Both of my jobs (teacher and wedding planner) led themselves to being a bit hectic— which is why I like to say I’m very good under pressure and quick on my feet!
What sets me apart? I genuinely care about my couples and their people. I’ll cry with your mom, laugh with the groomsmen, dance with your guests, and make sure you actually get to eat and have a drink. I want your wedding to feel like you, not a Pinterest board someone else picked out.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of how personal I make this experience. It’s not just about pretty details (though I love those too)—it’s about creating a day that becomes your “best day ever!”
I know what it’s like to be a bride, so I bring in my personal experience with my professional experience to create the dream vision (and sometimes you’ll catch me doing florals too!)
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was that kid—always choreographing dances with my friends in the basement and constantly looking for my next DIY project (bonus points if it involved glitter or hot glue). I was the definition of “busy body”—I tried every extracurricular under the sun, from horseback riding to choir to the cheer audition I failed. I just wanted to do all the things all the time.
I also had a big love for documenting life. I’d borrow my mom’s camera to take way too many photos at family events (ok, I still do that), and I made music videos with my sister (I could be convinced to still do that).
My mom always called me resilient— which I guess is true. If something didn’t end up as planned, I tried again or found a way to fix it.
My sister would call me other words, but for this article I will saw that she saw me as the best inspiration for her life.
