Meet Kerry Morton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kerry Morton.

Hi Kerry, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My father is a WWE Hall of Famer. I currently work for the National Wrestling Alliance which airs on FITE TV and YouTube hosting a weekly show.

I have the privilege to travel all over the country and wrestle everywhere. We are actually hosting a show in Nashville in June at the Studios. I have wrestled for the top independent wrestling promotions in the world.

As well, NCAA Cheerleader for King University. Former Professional theatre actor. Touted with shows such as Tarzan, All Shook Up, I’ll never be hungry again, Rock of Ages, Rocky Horror, etc.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, this road has been long. When you have your highs, it feels like you’re on top of the world. With busy schedules and constantly traveling and working out preparing our bodies for television and shows.

When you hit your lows, it stinks. In any business, we all have self-doubt. This industry is very demanding and we have to be Always Ready for the unexpected. Preparing for the word “No.” Being told “NO” is nothing new. We as performers just have to keep on going and work for the next opportunity.

Not letting ourselves go. Overcoming injuries. Making enough money to provide while living on the road and traveling to all these wrestling shows.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Professional Wrestler. Currently with the NWA National Wrestling Alliance.

Also, an NCAA Cheerleader for King University, Bristol, Tennessee. I specialize in the entertainment industry.

I also, come from the professional theatre industry touring with shows such as All Shook Up, Rocky Horror, Tarzan, Rock of Ages, & many more.
