Meet Kiera Sadler of Brentwood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiera Sadler.

Hi Kiera, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been an artsy, creative person. And I’ve always loved jewelry. When Covid started and we were under lockdown, that’s when I really had time to discover how I could take the two and make it something I absolutely love! Making jewelry became an outlet for my creative expression. I’ve taken quite a few breaks from creativity but I always find my way back to the drawing board. Or in this case, I should say craft table.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I wouldn’t say it’s been all easy. There have been plenty of times where I had to give myself a rest and take a step back to keep myself sane. Which usually is a longer bit of time, however, mental health is important. And sometimes, I have to take a break to focus and remember that in the end. But overall, when I come back, I’ve grown in my art too.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I like to make jewelry and I am considering getting into other creative hobbies like pottery and painting.
But as of now, my speciality is jewelry.
I am very proud of how much my style has evolved within making jewelry and I’m so excited yo continue to learn and grow as I move forward and expand my horizons.

What’s next?
On a personal level, I am just working and going with the flow. Trying to move up in life and figure out what I’d like to do professionally.
In regards to my art, I think I will begin selling jewelry again very soon. Which is exciting and also makes me nervous. But I am getting ready to take that leap again.
