Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Moore.
Hi Kyle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a board-certified emergency medicine physician with a deep passion for preventive health and performance optimization. My medical journey began after graduating from the University of West Alabama in 2011, where I had the privilege of lettering in baseball — an experience that shaped my discipline and drive. I went on to earn my medical degree from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016, and completed my emergency medicine residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in 2019.
During medical school, I met my incredible wife, Leiah, who trained and is now a practicing internal medicine physician. We couples matched to UMMC, and today, she practices at the Frist Clinic. Together, we’re raising two wonderful children: James Paul, our energetic six-year-old who already wants to become a doctor, and Anderson Claire, our spirited almost-three-year-old who insists she’s a princess — and lives up to that role perfectly. They are my “why” — my greatest motivation to build something lasting and meaningful.
As an emergency physician, I’ve loved being the one to show up when patients are in extremis. I currently still practice part-time — about four shifts a month — at Tristar Skyline, where I also serve as teaching faculty for the residency program. It’s incredibly fulfilling to teach the next generation of EM physicians and serve our community when it matters most.
Through years of ER work, I witnessed a recurring frustration: we’re excellent at treating disease, but not at preventing it. I saw patients return time and again with preventable conditions — not due to lack of motivation, but due to limited access, overwhelming information, and the high cost of navigating the health system. Primary care can be hard to access. Preventive services are fragmented, and for most, interpreting lab tests, supplements, or workout plans off the internet feels like navigating a maze.
That’s where Members Health Co. comes in.
My wife introduced me to Rahul Iyengar, who shared a vision for healthcare that was accessible, transparent, and empowering. Rahul, with a remarkable team, has built Members Health to give individuals the tools to take ownership of their health — before disease strikes, and I am extremely grateful to be a part of the team.
At Members Health:
All labs and imaging are offered at cost — no markup, no middlemen.
We don’t require insurance, making comprehensive care economically and timely efficient.
Our services include:

It’s about more than not being sick — it’s about feeling better than you knew you could.
Preventive health isn’t just a passion project — it’s where I believe medicine should go. I’m proud to still work in the ER, but I’m even more excited to help people optimize their health before they end up there.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not. The road has had its fair share of challenges — professionally and personally, although I am extremely grateful for my career, family, and friends. God has blessed me with more than I ever could earn or deserve, and I hope I am a steward of His blessings. Juggling two demanding medical careers while raising a young family has definitely not been boring. Trying to coordinate our constantly shifting schedules — especially with my emergency department work, which changes week to week — has been tough. Emergency medicine is inherently unpredictable; you’re always in a heightened state of alert, making life-or-death decisions on very little sleep, food, or family time. It can be hard not to bring that home or have that affect you. It seems difficult sometimes to keep those scenes and experiences separate from everything else. My kids don’t care what I do for work, they just want my attention and energy. It often feels like emergency medicine workers are asked to do the most with the least — a frontline role that comes with incredible responsibility but limited resources. Over my career, that gap between need and support feels like it’s widening. Finding balance is key. Planning becomes essential.
Starting a new venture and career trajectory has been extremely fun and fulfilling, but the learning curve is steep. There weren’t any business or marketing classes in medical school. That’s why I am so grateful to have joined a team like Members Health Co, who have helped me make a complete professional direction change, and have set me up with total support at every step of the transition.
The crux of it all has been my wife. Leiah has been an absolute rock, and she’s held our family together in ways I can’t even begin to explain. Without her, we simply wouldn’t be able to make this work. It’s been anything but smooth — but it’s made us stronger, more resilient, and more intentional about how we live, parent, and practice medicine.
We’ve been impressed with Members Health Co, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Members Health Co., we are a physician-led wellness and primary care practice with two locations in Wedgewood and The Nations. Our mission is simple: to empower individuals to take control of their health through a holistic, preventive, and personalized approach.
We specialize in both preventive care and performance optimization, while also managing existing medical conditions with evidence-based treatment. Our care model is rooted in accessibility, transparency, and a deep commitment to treating the whole person — not just their symptoms.
We embrace new and innovative techniques alongside established evidence-based practices to deliver care that is modern, effective, and meaningful. Whether it’s through advanced diagnostics, novel treatment strategies, or personalized lifestyle interventions, our goal is to stay at the forefront of what truly works for our patients.
In most healthcare models, you’re just another face in the crowd. Primary care physicians often manage patient panels in the thousands, leaving little time for meaningful connection or individualized attention. At Members Health Co., we do things differently. Our intentionally limited patient panel allows us to truly get to know each person — their story, their goals, and their challenges. This enables us to offer our full team and resources in a way that supports personalized, proactive care.
One of the biggest advantages of our model is that we are not insurance-based. This gives us the flexibility to deliver care that is both cost-effective and time-efficient. Without the administrative burden of billing insurance, we can focus on what matters: our patients. All of our lab work, imaging, and services are offered at cost — making them significantly more affordable than traditional healthcare. It also means faster scheduling, more direct access to your provider, and care that’s tailored to your actual needs — not dictated by insurance approval.
Our offerings include:
• Primary care and chronic disease management
• IV hydration therapy at 39$ a unit
• Medical aesthetics: Botox, PRP, microneedling
• Professional massage therapy
• In-house pharmacy for drastically discounted medications
• Body composition scanning
• Curated supplement programs at discounted prices
• Personalized meal prep support
• All labs and imaging are offered at cost — no markup, no middlemen.
• And more — all delivered with intention, without unnecessary costs or middlemen
Whether you’re looking to address a current health issue, optimize performance, or simply feel better than you knew you could, our team at Members Health Co. is here to guide you — with expertise, empathy, and care that meets you where you are.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
We believe the future of medicine is personalized, proactive, and patient-led — and Members Health is positioned at the forefront of that shift.
Over the next decade, we see a growing move away from reactive, insurance-dictated healthcare toward models that emphasize prevention, performance, and accessibility. The traditional system, burdened by bureaucracy and cost inefficiencies, is no longer sustainable — and patients are demanding more: more clarity, more value, and more control over their health.
At Members Health, we envision expanding our reach while preserving the intimacy and individualization that define us. We plan to grow within our community and beyond, opening additional locations and expanding services— all without compromising the core of what we do: treating people, not just problems.
Technology will play a bigger role — but always with the human element at the center. From remote monitoring to customized supplementation protocols, we’ll continue integrating innovation to deliver smarter, more efficient care, while maintaining the face-to-face, relationship-based medicine neighborhood feel
In short, we’re building a future where patients are not just surviving, but truly thriving — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Members Health will be a place where individuals feel better than they knew they could, supported by a team that knows them, cares for them, and empowers them every step of the way.
