Meet Leo Flores

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leo Flores.

Hi Leo, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
It all started with a literal dream. I saw a Bible open to Exodus Chapter 3. When I awoke from the dream I ran over to my Bible to read what was written in Exodus Chapter 3. This was the Chapter that God revealed themself to Moses and essentially revealed Moses’ purpose. At that moment, I knew I was going to name my company 3XODUS. Just like the book in the Bible Exodus was all about Moses’ personal growth and journey, 3XODUS became a part of my growth and journey.

From there, I wanted to create a company that was completely personalized and customized. Fashion and art have always been my passion. I wanted to create limited edition items. It was more important for me to create things that inspired me than to make things that would make me the most money.

I would say the more technical side of the business has been the hardest part. At one point, we had an online website but we were experiencing so many technical difficulties that we decided it wasn’t worth the headache. Now, we mostly navigate through word of mouth or Instagram DMs. That’s been much easier on the business side. For us, it’s not about mass producing things but putting love and good energy into everything we make.

All the clothing and home decor is saged and blessed. In a world where mass production and profit are the standards, we choose to create with love, individuality, and uniqueness. Although the business is in the beginning stages we hope to create even more unique and spiritually aligned items.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Currently, we are known for our evil eye design. We have sweaters, beanies, and pillow covers with the evil eye design.

Which for me holds spiritual significance. It’s really all about protecting your energy and keeping yourself safe. As I mentioned before, every custom piece we create is saged and prayed over for the protection of the new owner of the piece. Everything we make is made with love and positive energy.

I am most proud of how one dream has helped inspire me to follow my dreams in creating 3XODUS. Spirituality and fashion have always been a love of mine and to combine both of them together has been a dream.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I actually started 3XODUS during covid. It’s been a predominantly online business.

Although personal word of mouth has also been a staple in the business. But Instagram has been a blessing and online payment apps such as Cashapp, Venmo, and Zelle. The accessibility to these online apps has really helped.
