Rae&Ry Boutique was born out of both necessity and passion. After working at Kroger for 12 years, becoming a mother changed everything. I returned to work after having my daughter, but when I became pregnant with my son, I knew I wanted to be home with my children—and still contribute financially. That’s when the vision for Rae&Ry began.
For the first year, I balanced both worlds—working full-time at Kroger while building my business from the ground up. It was a demanding time, but I was determined to create something that would allow me the flexibility to be present with my family. Eventually, that dedication paid off, and I was able to resign and pursue Rae&Ry full-time.
What started as a small, home-based idea has come a long way. Today, Rae&Ry Boutique offers professional attire for several Middle Tennessee businesses, fully custom designs, and branding support including logo creation. I design and produce hats, t-shirts, hoodies, polos, and more—with creativity, care, and purpose behind every piece.
I’ve grown so much from where I started, and there’s still so much more ahead. Rae&Ry is more than a boutique—it’s a reflection of hard work, family, and the belief that you can build a life you love from the ground up.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Running Rae&Ry Boutique on my own hasn’t always been easy. As a one-woman business, I manage every part of the operation—communicating with customers, bringing their design visions to life, updating the website, fulfilling orders, and managing all social media. Every detail, from the first conversation to the final product, goes through me.
There have been many challenges along the way, especially learning how to create the best designs and refining my skills through trial and error. But through those struggles, I’ve grown tremendously—both as a business owner and as a creator. Every setback has taught me something new, and every success has reminded me why I started. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited for everything still ahead.

At Rae&Ry Boutique, I specialize in custom-designed shirts and apparel, created with care and intention. I sell through my boutique website as well as across multiple social media platforms, reaching a wide range of customers who are looking for something personal, inclusive, and unique.
From the beginning, my goal was to set Rae&Ry apart. Unlike many businesses in this industry, I don’t require a minimum order—whether a customer wants one shirt or a bulk order, I’m here to deliver. I also make it a priority to offer inclusive sizing, ensuring that every customer can get the exact same design, no matter their size. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen and valued.
I run every part of this business myself. From listening to a customer’s idea, to sitting down with a blank screen and designing from scratch, getting the transfers printed, producing the final product—every step is handled with care and attention to detail. I work with a wide range of products, including hats, polos, t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, safety vests, and face guards. If it can carry a logo, I can bring it to life. Without the help of 615 Transfers located in Nashville TN, none of this would be possible, all my transfers are printed local and are high quality.
When I started, I didn’t know anything about design software or how to create digital artwork. But I was determined to learn. Today, I can confidently create professional-quality designs and logos that match my customers’ visions. I never stop refining a design until the customer is 100% happy with the final result.
Running this business takes a lot of work and many late nights, but it’s all worth it. I love what I do. I love creating. Most importantly, I love the relationships I’ve built with my customers—they are truly the heart of my business. Their support is what allows me to do what I love while being home with my children, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.
