Hi Morgan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Our journey to owning The Livery Stables began long before we purchased it in October 2025. As someone who was raised in Cheatham County, The Livery Stables was not a new place to me. While my love for event planning started when planning my own wedding in 2015 and continued to grow as I organized celebrations and gatherings for family and friends.
That passion lead me to spend five years working as a wedding assistant at a large wedding venue outside of Nashville, where I gained invaluable experience in the event coordination industry.
When the opportunity arose to purchase The Livery Stables in October, everything seemed to fall into place. It felt like the perfect opportunity – not only to the pursue the work I love but also to return to my Cheatham County roots and invest in the local community.
Today, we’re honored to help continue creating unforgettable memories at The Livery Stables as it’s been a staple in the Pleasant View community since 2004. Whether it’s a wedding, celebration, corporate event, or community gathering, our goal is to provide a welcoming space where every event feels personal, memorable, and uniquely yours.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely been a learning experience. Like any small business, there have been challenges, but every one of them has helped us grow. Seeing families and couples create lasting memories here makes it all worthwhile. We’ve learned so much in our short amount of time as owners, met amazing people, and are so grateful for the opportunity to serve our community.
As you know, we’re big fans of The Livery Stables. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The Livery Stables in Pleasant View, Tennessee, is a unique event venue with over 140 years of rich history. Originally serving as a horse boarding and grooming house, it has been thoughtfully renovated to maintain its rustic charm while incorporating modern amenities. Located just 20 minutes from both Nashville and Clarksville, the venue offers a 4,000-square-foot space ideal for various occasions, including weddings, concerts, and community events. The Livery Stables was converted into a venue in 2004 and has been serving the community since then.
How do you think about happiness?
Nothing brings me more joy than spending time with my family and creating lasting memories together. One of the reasons I love owning The Livery Stables is because that’s exactly what we do for other families. We create a space that will allow them to create lasting memories with their loved ones.

- $350/hour : Friday-Sunday event, non wedding
- $250/hour: Monday-Thursday event, non wedding
- $5500 – Saturday Wedding
- $4500 – Friday Wedding
- $2600- Sunday Wedding
