Meet Neha Singhania Goel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Neha Singhania Goel.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After graduating in interiors I started my own interior design firm in India. I did all kinds of commercial and residential projects and also specialized in building custom furniture for my clients, where I set up a workshop for the same. I was very lucky to find an amazing team of people to work with.

And as life happens I moved to Nashville in 2011 and started doing the same here. Initially, it was a challenge to find clients and get accustomed to buying furniture instead of creating your own. Gradually through word of mouth, it started to take place and I met new people and was able to continue to design spaces and do something I love.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest struggle initially was to find clients. Social media not being so popular back then. It was also a struggle to start from scratch again after being settled in my work back in India. But the love for creating beautiful spaces is what keeps me going.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in designing residential spaces and creating custom art pieces for most of the spaces I design. I think the best part of my design is the balance and grandeur I create staying within budget. I’m also happy to spend extra hours and stretch myself to get the details done.

I’m very proud of the art pieces I create for my clients which sets them apart.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I would say we all should do what we love no matter how difficult or new the path is. When u love your work you are always on a vacation.

A well-done space always maximizes your energy and brings out the best in you.
