Neysha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hi there! Neysha here from Nashville Vibin! I am originally from Buffalo, NY (Go Bills) and have been in Nashville for the last six years! I got started with Nashville Vibin about three years ago after being the go to girl for all things Nashville from my friends here and also my hometown friends who came to visit me. When it came to the best food, drinks, and places to be… I was there. I loved Nashville from the minute I came and I was absolutely obsessed with the social scene here! Seeing Nashville grow into this vibrant, young, ever changing city has been wild and refreshing. After awhile, I needed a place to host all of my recommendations and my love for Nashville… that is when Nashville Vibin was born! A place for me to connect with others who love this city and those who want to visit!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think the biggest challenge for my page has been keeping up! Nashville has been growing so fast, it can sometimes be hard to stay up to date with every new opening and event. People constantly ask me for recommendations or my opinion of a new spot… so I always want to be in the know (and what kind of blogger would I be if I didn’t!)
Also, I have been wanting to branch out into some passion projects and venture into something that mixes Nashville Vibin and also reflects my love of Nashville! So trying new things and finding my lane has been challenging yet fun! I’ve got some fun things up my sleeve!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have worked with tons of local businesses to help get the word out and promote them on my page! I have also done photography for local businesses to really help step up their social media game! I’ve even worked with national brands and one of my most proud moments was when I worked with Bud Light to shoot a campaign with them where I highlighted a black owned business for a segment on Thursday Night Football last season!
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
This is actually the first time I am letting anyone know about my secret project that I have been pouring my heart into. I am currently working on an Airbnb that will be fully decked out for girls trips and bachelorette parties! So let me introduce you to Vibey Stays! I am going all out, think over the top prints, pink velvet, and (of course) every corner will be instagrammable! This house is everything I have ever wanted when traveling with a group of girls and I really hope everyone loves it! This project has been a long time in the making and combines my love for the city of Nashville, traveling, and also Instagram! Check me out @vibeystays.
