Hi Rebecca, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up as the daughter of a Methodist minister and a school teacher, Rebecca’s journey began at Central Methodist University in Missouri, where she attended on a business, music, and volleyball scholarship. Music has always been a significant part of her life. Rebecca and her identical twin sister, Melinda Norris-Munro, were discovered by Roy Clark while performing as The Norris Twins in Branson, Missouri, and then after moving to Nashville, TN they went on to become cast members of the nationally televised show Hee Haw. Rebecca later worked in the music industry as both an entertainer and an accountant in music publishing, giving her a unique combination of creative, business, and people skills.
Now a Nashville resident for 30 years, Rebecca eventually transitioned those experiences into a successful career in real estate. She quickly became one of Nashville’s top real estate agents. She has worked as a luxury real estate agent, investor, and property manager in both residential and commercial real estate. She even found time in her personal life to become a seven-time consecutive Women’s Singles and Doubles Tennis Champion at Richland Country Club. Her competitive sports background has greatly influenced her real estate career, strengthening the discipline, determination, strategic thinking, and competitive drive she brings to every transaction. After several successful years as a top-producing agent with Parks, she joined Compass because of its innovative approach, exceptional marketing, and technology.
Rebecca is married to longtime renowned music manager, producer, publisher, and creator of MIC (Music Industry Community platform) Christy DiNapoli. Together, they have two sons, Santino and Ariano. Rebecca homeschooled her sons while simultaneously building her real estate career and competing at the highest level in tennis—a chapter of her life that reflects the determination, time management, and commitment she brings to everything she does.
Today, Rebecca combines her knowledge of the Nashville market with her background in business, entertainment, design, marketing, and using her competitive nature to help clients buy and sell exceptional properties and bring their real estate visions to life—from finding the right land and builder to completing the finished project. Her unconventional path has taught her the importance of presentation, perseverance, strategy, and genuine connections—qualities that continue to shape her career today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a relatively smooth road with life’s normal challenges between balancing raising children and having a demanding career.
