Meet Regis George of nomADic genius

Today we’d like to introduce you to Regis George.

Hi Regis, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
We started in 2009 when I saw a scrolling billboard truck driving past my office while I was selling magazine ads. I ran to the street corner to find out what type of truck this was and what type of revenue it had the potential for, and once I found out, I made a six-month exit strategy and purchased my first vehicle. In the beginning, I drove the truck, sold the ads, and created the ads. I was the Director of operations and still am, but now have a team of people to help my fiancé, my business partner. She has helped grow this business immensely by taking things off my plate and allowing me to grow the business with revenue-generating strategies. We have a team of drivers, graphic artists, website developers, SEO, and social media teams that all work towards the same goals.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been fairly smooth. There are always struggles when you have vehicles. There is potential for accidents, breakdowns, people who call in sick, and campaign interruptions that you must overcome to maintain a reliable status with your advertisers. And to this day, we have NEVER not completed an ad campaign” we have 100% maintained our reliability standards. Advertising is a tough game. Businesses stop advertising when they have a market downturn or recession pandemic. Without advertising revenue, we have no ways of growing or paying bills, so we’ve gotten through the 2008 and 2009 recession, the pandemic, and now another recession, and we’re still maintaining a solid level.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about nomadic genius?
Small operation with solid annual revenue.  We work on a lien ship and have a lot of contract workers.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was a very active kid. I play sports go hunting with my father, live music, and entertainment, and I’m 100% extroverted. In high school, I was on the student council football team; dated cheerleaders led a group of friends. I’m an organizer and event planner, have many friends and maintain many relationships. I value all of my friendships and relationships to this day.

I’ve know him since high school.
I’m not saying we’ve always been best of friends… *alpha clashes* But, everything he said here is true. A leader among his peers and an over-all trustworthy man.
If you’re in the Nashville area and are not elated with your current advertising, I know he’ll do everything to change that for you.
This isn’t bias.. this is truth.
