Hi Sara, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have been doing hair ever since I graduated high school in 2015. I started my own business in CT in 2018! I moved to Nashville in 2021.. started off working for someone and just knew I was meant to have my own business again here in Nashville! It’s been almost 3 years of fully running my own business in Nashville and it’s for sure had its ups and downs. Starting out with not a single client; But it’s truly been an amazing journey filled with so many ups and so many down. Amazing opportunities I would’ve never gotten if I stayed in CT. Although it’s come with its challenges completely starting over, It’s been the most rewarding journey and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No!! Difficult for sure! But very rewarding seeing something grow from the ground up. Trying to get my name out to people when I didn’t even have a single client or barely knew anyone. There are so many talented stylists here so finding your niche and standing out.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have a little beach oasis as a salon. Bringing a part of CT my home to Nashville
Specializing in lived in color, invisible bead extensions, k tip extensions and spray tanning
Our goal is always effortless natural looks!
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Just go for it!!! A dream is planted in your mind for a reason. So many people will tell you you’re not ready or try to bring you down. But the truth is no one can stand in your way besides you! If you have the right mindset, anything is truly possible and I’m living proof, from not a single client to a very steady booked clientele!
