Meet Sarah Richardson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Richardson.

Hi Sarah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was always the planner for events even at a young age. I made it official and started an All-Inclusive event business, Dream Maker Weddings & Events. I worked events on the side for many years while maintaining a 9 to 5. I always dreamed of having my own venue instead of traveling to venues all over. My husband (who is my biggest fan and supporter) and I searched for a few years not knowing what we were looking for. A gorgeous 11 acre property went for sale with a 3 acre lake. I just knew deep down that it was going to be our venue. I drew it out on graph paper then took it to an architect. He put my dream to life on blueprints! It was a long and stressful building process and getting it up and running but we pushed through many obstacles. It was well worth it looking back now. We incorporated a venue with my original business. We are very appreciative of how God has Blessed us.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Creating the Villa on graph paper was challenging before putting it on blueprints. Dealing with codes and jealous competitors was a difficult process. When I had a dream of creating Cascata Springs and during the building process many people just didn’t see the vision and were negative.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
The Dream Team takes pride in creating and executing our client’s dream wedding or event. Cascata Springs is known for our Italian-Inspired Villa, Waterfall, Event space overlooking a three acre lake, and our All-Inclusive packages. We make it stress-free for our clients. We are most proud of the relationships we create and receiving feedback to ensure we made our client have the perfect event.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was always outgoing. I played sports while growing up but mainly travel softball. Doing outdoor activities was always on my agenda like camping, kayaking, & canoeing.
